I offer “trial” lessons during which you can come along for a “taster” lesson, specifically for those without their own instrument, have a lesson with me using one of my saxophones.
Advanced improvisation techniques,
IMPROVE -
Lessons take place in my home in the “teaching/practice” room which is purpose built for teaching, utilising the PC for playback and accompaniment (from me on keyboard or perhaps from pre recorded play along tracks).
I chart each individual lesson with updates on what is being studied, where weaknesses, strengths and preferences lie so to form an idea of where and how to progress the musical learning curve. All lessons are tailored to suit the individual.
The room is very comfortable to play in and has a nice sound for teaching along with vast resources in the form of music books on technique, sound, style, theory, listening aids in the form of transcribed saxophone performances, recordings, CD’s etc it’s a “library of saxophone” all on it’s own.
There are recording faciilities in the room so lessons may be recorded upon request for listening back and monitoring progress. Recording your playing over various backing tracks is possible therefore you may produce a CD of your saxophone playing.
